This policy explains how JobPilot, operated by Xaptured, collects and uses your information. We collect only what we need to run the Service.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address (via sign-in).
• Résumé & preferences: the résumé you upload and your job-search settings.
• Usage data: job runs and matches generated for you.
• Payment data: processed by Razorpay; we do not store card details.

How we use it

• To match jobs to your résumé and generate tailored résumés.
• To email you your job digests.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Third-party processors

We share the minimum necessary data with providers that power the Service: Supabase (authentication & storage), Anthropic (AI processing), job-data providers (Adzuna, JSearch, Apify), Resend (email), Razorpay (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Data retention & your rights

We retain your data while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your résumé and associated records.

Security

Access to your data is protected by row-level security and encrypted connections. Secrets are never exposed to the browser.
